Its been hardly a week with the phone, nokia did confirm battery backup in updates will be long lasting and they were right. The update has brought better performance to the phone and also a very good backup. Now to the developer unlock part, developer unlock is normally charged by nokia to unlock the phone, but i managed to do it for free by some research. Now i can install most .xap files on my lumia and also customize the tiles with backgrounds. Also can add custom ringtones. For now..enjoy this…later on games and more.

lol…nutin bad..but its a way to dev unlock the device for ppl who dont hav an account or dont stay in such areas wer dey cant access all this services…or ppl who are not im colleges or university!

I realized about 5 minutes into reading the instructions that this is just a way to get access to MSDNAA/Dreamspark Premium for free and then download from there. If you’re at a college/university that has an MSDNAA account (now called Dreamspark Premium), you can probably just go through your? own school. Just write your MSDNAA program administrator. I did a while back and got free academic copies of Windows 7, several Office programs, and these WP7 dev tools, apparently.
